Report interpretation, sharing, and retest
How to read GEO reports, metrics, evidence, share links, exports, partial reports, and retests.
Report status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Queued | Waiting for background processing |
| Collecting | AI answers are being collected |
| Processing | Metrics are being computed |
| Generating | Report assets are being generated |
| Completed | Report is ready |
| Partial ready | Some useful results exist but collection has gaps |
| Metrics review | Metrics need review before publishing |
| Failed | Manual handling or retry is needed |
Metrics
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| GEO score | High-level summary of visibility and recommendation performance |
| Mention rate | How often the target brand appears in AI answers |
| Top 3 rate | How often the brand appears near the top |
| Source coverage | Whether useful sources or references support visibility |
| Stage visibility | Performance across trigger, exploration, evaluation, and action questions |
| Competitor gap | Where competitors are mentioned or ranked ahead |
Use metrics together with raw answers, references, competitor evidence, and priority actions. A single score is not the whole report.
Sharing and export
A share page is a standalone public report page protected by a link and password or access token. Verify the share page in a logged-out browser before sending it. Exports may include PDF, Excel, JSON, or data packages depending on report state.
Retest
Use retest after website, content, source, FAQ, or proof-point improvements. Reuse questions, platforms, rounds, and collection mode for comparability.
